Led participatory strategic planning processes in Malawi, Mozambique, and Zambia for international NGOs resulting in multi-year Country Strategic Plans and a suite of communication and marketing materials.
Assessed the administrative and operational systems, procedures, processes, and staffing structures of country offices to improve human resources, procurement, and financial management efficiencies for a range of organizations in Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Regularly provide operational and programmatic technical support for work plans, budgets, and annual planning processes, including for a +$75 million USAID-funded democracy and governance program in East Africa.
Organize workshops and provide one-on-one support to national NGOs in strategic planning and organizational development to strengthen systems and processes.

Assessments, Research, and Evaluation.
Conducted a nationally representative mix-methods media assessment, utilizing quantitative and qualitative tools through the establishment of a data collection call center, key informant interviews, and field visits.
Designed for a globally recognized international NGO a real-time and dynamic country-wide Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning framework and dashboards.
Served as the technical lead and supported the overall research design for a United Nations funded assessment on the impact of COVID-19 on household income, employment, and district-level labor and market dynamics.
Designed a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning plan for a multi-year USAID-funded civil society project in East Africa.
Led a comprehensive mapping for a DFID-funded learning intervention on Accountability to inform overall standards for humanitarian program design, management, and implementation.
Proposal and Business Development.
Support international contractors and NGOs on +$20 million USAID and USDA McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program proposal submissions across the health, education, economic growth, agriculture, and democracy and governance sectors through positioning, technical writing, partnering strategy, key personnel identification, the development of staffing, management, and Monitoring, Evaluation, Researching and Learning plans.
Lead all aspects of humanitarian proposal design and writing, resulting in successful awards from U.S. Department of State Population, Refugees, and Migration, USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance), European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and other UN agencies throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, and Latin America for multiple organizations.
Successfully supported organizations’ responses to highly technical proposals for Dutch, French, Netherlands, Swedish, and other EU donors in areas of horticulture, food security, productive youth employment, entrepreneurship, and resilience.
Provide regular consortia management for international NGOs to co-create sound logical models and results frameworks, integrated proposal designs, and operationally cost-effective programs, while ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
Provided business and proposal development training and group workshops to create more efficient business development units, higher quality proposals, and inform business strategy and decision-making.
Recently conducted capture for El Salvador, Gambia, Ghana, Georgia, Kenya, Lebanon, Malawi, Mozambique, Uganda, South Sudan. and Zambia.
Practice Areas.
Provided technical advisory and support to United Nations Country Operations throughout the MENA region on community-based protection programming and strengthening systems for accountability to affected populations.
Conduct field assessments regularly, including food security, WASH, and sexual reproductive health assessments in Uganda.
Supported core startup activities on an urban refugee livelihood and protection project in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Provided thought leadership and technical advisory services to a leading international humanitarian NGO to develop an organizational-wide Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) practice area.
